Commented Issue: VAB ignores inheritance when configuring rules in config file

I've got the same problem as Shabab (see below) in my WinForms Application using a configuration file. The validation rules are only inherited when I use attributes. After having transferred 200+ Attributes to a config file this is a real problem now.

Would really like to see this fixed as well. At the moment the inheritance behaviour between attributes and configuration based validation is inconsistent. Having to clone (evil copy & paste) blocks of XML in the configuration file is not pretty when it starts to get huge.

Which valdator i should use.
